In the G20 driver, external weighting in the large, forgiving head helps launch the ball high with low spin for maximum distance and accuracy by optimizing the CG location. PING’s proprietary high-balance-point shaft enables the golfer to swing a clubhead with more mass at the same speed, creating a higher MOI and generating faster ball speeds for long, straight drives. The G20 is PING’s first driver to be built with Ti 8-1-1, a titanium alloy that helps improve the weighting to better optimize the entire clubhead.

“From a fitting standpoint, we optimized the performance of the G20 driver by offering two versions of our high-balance-point shaft,” Solheim said. “Players can select the higher-launching standard TFC 169D shaft or the slightly heavier, lower-launching TFC 169D Tour version to achieve the launch characteristics that give them the best results.”

“Our research shows that improving consistency is the key to making more putts, and we do that by matching the putter’s balance with the golfer’s stroke type,” Solheim said. “In the Anser Milled Series we’ve updated the classic Anser design and given golfers seven options so that every golfer can find a model that fits their eye and their stroke so they can make a lot more putts.”
